Leah Dorion Métis Artist

Leah Marie Dorion is a Métis interdisciplinary artist, educator, and author with cultural roots in the historic community of Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. Deeply committed to sharing Métis culture, history, and teachings, she uses her creative work to celebrate Indigenous knowledge, identity, and connection.

Through her paintings, Leah honours the spiritual strength of Indigenous women and the sacred feminine. Her artwork reflects the belief that women play a vital role in nurturing future generations and carrying forward the knowledge, values, and traditions that sustain communities. Themes of motherhood, resilience, culture, and spirituality are woven throughout her artistic practice.
