"Add ons" are inexpensive pieces that simply don't make sense to ship by themselves, but they are great  to "add on" to a larger order.  Items thicker than 2 cm are too thick to pass through a letter box, so Canada Post says they must be shipped by parcel mail. 

You can "add on" these items to your order that is already going parcel post, and not pay more for shipping.
